We are seeking a fully qualified lawyer / in-house counsel m/f/d to join the central legal department within the Corporate Legal & Compliance division of the Phoenix Contact Group as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be interested in supporting the expansion of a globally active family-owned company, both in its relationships with customers and suppliers and in terms of establishing efficient internal structures.

• You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts in both German and English for both sales and purchasing
• You enjoy working in technology-related fields, including product compliance
• In addition, you will be responsible for providing legal support for license agreements, development agreements, and other contracts related to intellectual property
• You will also contribute to improving internal processes and structures to strengthen the legal certainty of the business
• You assess legal risks and develop measures to minimize them
• Following a structured onboarding process into your responsibilities, you will advise the departments assigned to you with a high degree of autonomy
• Collaborating with legal professionals at international locations is also part of your responsibilities as the Legal Department continues to expand globally

• You have completed your legal training with above-average grades
• Several years of professional experience in the legal department of an industrial company or a business law firm is required
• You have a friendly, outgoing personality, enjoy working in a team, and can present complex issues in a clear and audience-oriented manner
• You’re a good fit for us if you have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and feel at home in dynamic work environments and situations
• Business-level English proficiency rounds out your profile
