In the Digital Processes & Solutions division, we are shaping the digital transformation of the Phoenix Contact Group. As a Senior Consultant for Data Management & Migration (m/f/d), you will be responsible for advising internal clients on relevant data, processes, and systems, and will oversee the planning, coordination, and operational implementation of migration activities. As part of the Master Data Management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of our MDM data and system landscape and lay the groundwork for the successful implementation of future business capabilities toward the "All Electric Society."

Your Tasks

• You will conduct requirements analyses and provide comprehensive, solution-oriented consulting to internal departments as well as Phoenix Contact’s business areas
• Your consulting services range from drafting initial solution designs to developing cost estimates and process models, to creating decision templates and supporting implementation projects        
• In addition, you actively drive the further development of data models , the establishment of data governance , and the ensuring of high data quality , thereby supporting the efficient handling of central business processes within the Phoenix Contact Group
• At the interface between business requirements and technical implementation, you will work closely with software developers, in-house consultants, IT architects, and the business areas.

In addition, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing data migrations, coordinating all relevant activities and stakeholders

Your Profile

• You have a degree in (Business) Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• You have practical experience in the field of Master Data Management (MDM)
• You have in-depth knowledge of SAP and the associated master data, particularly in the areas of materials and business partners
• Ideally, you have experience with SAP migration tools such as LSMW or the Migration Cockpit (Migrate Your Data)
• You have experience in analyzing and documenting business requirements and deriving appropriate measures and solutions from them in a structured manner
• Your profile is rounded off by very good German and English skills
